So, little Chase will be 2 1/2 in a few short days. Hard to believe. Brad & I still kinda think of him as a baby, but he is definitely a little boy. He loves to be independent at any given opportunity such as putting on his own coat, taking his plate to the sink after dinner etc. His vocabulary and thinking process just amaze us. He was counting his cars the other day and told me there were 20, then he said, "no wait, mama, actually there are 19". Such big words for a little guy. He also understands emme now, more than we do. She says the sound "bu" for ball, blanket, bottle, balloon, and book. She was making her noise the other day and I was guessing what she wanted when Chase said "mama, emme wants her blanket." And then went over to get it for her. He was right. Since she doesn't seem to be as interested in sign language as Chase was I'm glad I have an interpreter! :) We are looking forward to Christmas with Chase this year. We have an advent calendar that Aunt Melissa made him and every morning he remembers what number we open for that day. He also LOVES Christmas lights, so we have been going for lots of drives at night when Brad gets home from work.
