{summer}

Nothing much new here. . .just enjoying our summer and Brad's "summer hours." Emme's vocab. is growing each day and she is constantly trying to keep up with her brother. She has her 18mo. check up (I know it's late) and Chase has his 3 yr. both tomorrow. I'm always glad when Dr. apts. are over. But it will be interesting to get "the stats."

Chase started VBS today and did great. He is the youngest one in his class. He had so much fun and I love to hear him tell me all he's learned. They made a pouch today to hold a prayer rock. He told me it was to remind him to pray and then to share it with others. He sang me the new songs he learned . . something about God sent his only Son to die for us and He loves us. I don't know the song but was impressed he remembered. And the BIG highlight was quite possibly the fact that he got to drink grape lemonade. I heard about how good that was all the way home.

Emme kept looking around the house asking about "ace" all morning . . she clearly missed him. Anyway, here's a couple random pics.

This is the crib I used as a baby . . I think Emme looks so sweet in it!
