So it all started with this chair that I saw in Anthropologie. I immediately thought of all the ways I could use it to photograph. I knew it was probably too expensive to buy . . . maybe $400? I didn't know. Well, I was right on BOTH accounts. . . TOO expensive ($2,000!!!) and WAY cute to photograph in. So I began my search and after going to 8 antique/junk stores I found the chair below. The frame is almost identical and I love it!! (probably doesn't hurt that I love the first model I put in it too)

the chair that inspired me . . .

the chair that fit my budget :)

I'm not sure if this says, "love me" or "I'm the queen" but I adore it

I'm glad to hear the story about The Chair. I just saw the photos on Facebook and I thought "where does she get these props?!" So, you have to throw the chair in your car everytime you go to a site? I fully endorse the purchase of the chair!

Yep, I just haul it with me to the session. I need all the endorsement I can get because Brad's about had it with me and my props. ALTHOUGH, when he sees one of the kiddos using a prop then his heart usually melts and all is forgotten! Prime example . . emme in this chair! :)

I think your antique chair is much cooler than their CRAZY-priced one! Actually, I loved the chair when I saw these on FB too. And you can't beat the model!
