So, yesterday we were driving and Chase says, "mama, there's a school bus." (o.k., nothing I haven't heard before) Then he says, "it has an octagon stop sign." (again . . nothing he doesn't point out all the time) "mama, the sign reads, S.T.O.P- that says stop." WHAT??? Since when is a little boy that's not even 2 1/2 years old thinking about reading and spelling?? He always seems to come up with something to amaze us . . . then again, we are his parents - so it's probably safe to say we are easily impressed! :)
