There are usually a lot of different reasons I am drawn into an image. It could be the intense colors, the representation, the art . . .on and on. But one thing is for sure and that is when I create one of those images I can't get it out of my mind, really! I know it's strange, but I dissect it and gaze at it over and over. I can't get enough of a powerful image! I LOVE photography SO much. That leads me to the image below.
Just a "snap shot" or so I thought of Chase at the Botanical Gardens looking at the trains. Brad said, "melanie get a picture of him because he's so excited." When I opened it up today I about gasped. Oh, the look on BRAD's face is one that I just adore. He loves Chase & Emme so much and often gives them this look. It's a small grin that is packed full of pride, happiness, & love for them. He often does it when no one else is watching and he is just enjoying some particular moment with the kids. I couldn't believe I randomly caught it. But, I can't wait to show Chase this image 30 years from now and share with him all this ways his father loves him so much (although I'm sure Chase will already know that!).

love those candid moments. so sweet!
Watching Dads enjoy their children is so sweet! How special to have an image of it. We went to the trains this week too. Eleanor went crazy running around pointing at them. Merry Christmas!
I've seen that same look when he looks at you. We are so blessed to have him in our family!
