We went to the Transportation Museum today and whoa . . . was it a hit! Train after train after train - and you could go into some of them. They were HUGE, but Chase didn't mind a bit. Then they had a place called "creative station" for the kids. It cost a whole $1.50!! Anyway, they could dress up in conductor outfits, play with the tons & tons of track and trains, make crafts etc.etc. From Memorial Day - Labor Day they have train rides outside, so I am sure we will go back.
At dinner Chase gave us the "run down" of the day, which trains had places that people could sleep, which ones had cow catchers on them (of, course Brad taught him that because I had no idea that's what it was called), which ones had lights on, what colors they were. Brad said, do you think Chase has such a good memory because he doesn't have to worry about work, food, family & finances like we do??!!! I don't know, but he doesn't seem to forget a thing!!
