Have I ever mentioned that Chase is the BEST sleeper ever?! Yes, even when he had the flu, he didn't even get out of bed or cry because he knows that bed time is bed time. (we totally felt bad that we didn't know until the morning that he was sick) Anyway, since he has been in his toddler bed it's no different. He goes right to bed at night and stays in bed until I come to get him in the morning. Recently I put a basket with books next to the bed for him. So, now when he wakes up he just reads books to himself until I come get him. It's SO cute to hear him reading outside the door. And we are constantly amazed that even the new books we get each week from the library he can recite them to himself after we have only read them to him only once or twice. He's a pretty sharp little guy and rarely forgets a thing!
