{Holiday Weekend}

We had a very fun, sleep deprived 4th of july weekend. I don't think we could have packed any more activities in! We had a local parade, frog jumping contest, fire trucks (chase's favorite), pool time, Knights action water park, boating, tubing, fireworks , hum. . . .. there's must be something I'm leaving out but I'm too tired to remember! Considering we have NEVER pushed the kids so hard (meaning little naps & up late at night)- they both did great!!

Chase really surprised us when he had no problem touching the frogs and later on a turtle that the boys caught. And then at the water park he was going down fast water slides that his cousins weren't brave enough to go on until they were 5! He went down alone and just kept wanting to go down over and over and over. At times he would slide down backwards, or accidentally swallow big gulps of water and he would just laugh. The fireworks didn't bother him either - not even the big booms. He kept telling how fireworks go boom and that you get to eat popcorn. It was pretty cute.
