There's nothing like a freshly picked bouquet of flowers! Gladiolas & Peonys are my favorite. My great grandma Blumer always grew beautiful Glads, Peonys and Iris. I still have wonderful memories smelling them at her house. She & great grandpa really had a "green thumb" and they definitely passed it onto my mom! Anyway, Brad bought me a peony bush for mother's day in 2006! Yes, the year Chase was born. It was so special, but it has never bloomed. We thought it was dead for awhile, which seriously made me SO sad, but then last year we saw blooms. But, disappointment followed as they never opened and eventually died. Well, not this year!! OH, can't you almost smell these things through your computer screen!!!
Have you ever stopped to appreciate the under side of a flower? With peonys you just HAVE to . . . . there is equal amount of beauty hidden underneath
